Event Description: The Hartford Bishops’ Foundation, Inc. gala will be held on Saturday, November 18th as a luncheon at the Aria in Prospect, CT at noon. This year’s gala will benefit Catholic education and faith formation across the entire spectrum of life in all the parishes and schools of the Archdiocese of Hartford. As it makes plans to “reignite our Catholic faith,” the Office of Education, Evangelization and Catechesis (OEEC) will enhance its programs including professional development for clergy, parish leaders, catechists and educators. It will also allow the OEEC to explore creative approaches to form and sustain “missionary disciples” among the clergy and faithful, as encouraged by Pope Francis. CEO of Avangrid, Inc. James P. Torgerson and his wife, MaryAnn, will serve as chairs of its second annual gala.
