Event Description: Delicious food, music, auctions, a patio for gazing up at the stars—it’s all part of a lifesaving evening at the Connecticut Humane Society’s Diamonds in the Ruff fundraiser for pets in need. The special event is set for Saturday, Sept. 16, from 6-10 p.m. at The North House, 1 Nod Road, Avon. Animal lovers joining the fun should reserve their seats now by visiting bit.ly/chsdiamondsintheruff. All proceeds from the evening will go toward the lifesaving veterinary treatment that pets receive at CHS. Guests will even get to meet a couple of critters who will benefit from their generosity—puppies in the care of CHS will help kick off the festivities by greeting visitors at the door.
