Event Description: InsurTech is booming, and Hartford is the insurance capital of the world. Let's ProtoHack as a way to create InsurTech start-up ventures. What is a ProtoHack? ProtoHacks are hackathons that allow entrepreneurs to bring higher fidelity to their ideas. The end result is a wireframe or storyboard of the software product that can then go forward to MVP development. After our successful hackathon event, entrepreneurs wanted to know, "what's next?" ProtoHack is the next event that will allow entrepreneurs to create mockups and prototypes of their platform. This ProtoHack will not involve coding. Regardless, we encourage coders and non-coders to attend. Who can attend? The event is open to anyone with interest in InsurTech. If you are in idea stage or revenue generating, the event is open to you. If you welcome even if do not have an InsurTech idea. People looking to participate in helping the InsurTech Hartford start-up community are welcome. Why are we meeting at Innovate Hartford? Innovate Hartford is opening a 27,500-square-foot high-tech hub of innovation comprised of office and shared space for entrepreneurs, start-ups, and incubators. InsurTech Hartford has established a strategic alliance with Innovate Hartford to give our members the benefit of the awesomeness Innovate Hartford has under development.
