Event Description: A "Remembering G. Fox & Company" lunch and program will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. at Centinel Hill Hall auditorium on June 7th on the campus of Capital Community College. The program, “Remembering G. Fox in the 1950s”, will be presented by Joe Waxman of the Connecticut Historical Society. Campus tours will be provided and information about the College's Hartford Heritage place-based learning courses will be shared. Tickets for the lunch and program are $25 pp. Capital Community College relocated to the former department store building in 2002 after a transformation of the building into a state of the art campus. G. Fox & Company closed its historic Main Street store in 1993. The College through its Heritage program is continuing the tradition begun by G. Fox of using Centinel Hill Hall as a community gathering place for arts, culture and civic engagement.

Capital Community College, 950 Main Street, Hartford (formerly G. Fox & Company Department Store) is located near the intersection of Routes 91 and 84. Parking is available for students, guests, and visitors at the Morgan Street Garage.
