Event Description: Ted Carroll, President of Leadership Greater Hartford (LGH), one of the largest and most comprehensive nonprofit community leadership organizations in the country, will be the keynote speaker at two local higher education institutions next week. Carroll begins his college tour at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work Recognition Ceremony on Sunday May 3 at 10:30 a.m. at the Bushnell Theatre for the Performing Arts. At 8:45 a.m. Monday May 4 Carroll will be delivering the keynote address to faculty and staff at Goodwin College's Community Day. His address will feature the Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership® of Kouzes and Posner, followed by small group breakout sessions. Both Goodwin College and the University of Connecticut Greater Hartford recently participated in LGH's inaugural Leading Off Campus program, a selective collegiate leadership experience for full or part-time college student leaders ready for the next step.
