Event Description: Wiggin and Dana is pleased to host our annual Connecticut Cyber and Privacy Forum. This full-day cyber and privacy forum features speakers and panelists from the cyber consulting and insurance industries, the Connecticut Office of the Attorney General and the FTC and draws a sophisticated audience of general counsels, in-house lawyers and senior managers who have responsibilities in privacy, data security, risk management, regulatory compliance or government contracting. Panels and presentations will address: * Cybersecurity Threat Watch for 2015 * Cybersecurity Standards for the Private Sector * Insurance Lessons from a ‘Year of Mega-Breaches' * Cybersecurity and Privacy Issues in Vendor Contracts and other Transactions The luncheon session will feature a discussion with Dr. John Launchbury of DARPA on cybersecurity, online privacy, and hacking into your moving automobile, followed by a conversation with regulators on cybersecurity compliance ground rules. Following the Forum, there will be two Afternoon Breakout Workshops for in-house counsel, privacy officers, and risk managers that will focus on industry-specific privacy and security requirements.
